[SMM PV Brief] Nigeria's 9MW PV Project Completed and Commissioned
Recently, a 9 MW PV rooftop project in an industrial and commercial park in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa, was successfully completed and put into operation. The entire power station is fully equipped with Ulica Gaoshan Fuguang double-glass PV modules, continuously delivering clean electricity and injecting stable green momentum into the park’s production and operations.
West Africa is hot year-round, with large temperature differences between day and night, and some areas also experience sandstorms and high humidity, posing stringent challenges to the weather resistance of PV modules. The Ulica double-glass modules selected for this project have undergone a full suite of rigorous TÜV reliability tests, demonstrating excellent high-temperature resistance, anti-degradation, and mechanical load performance, enabling them to adapt to the complex outdoor conditions in West Africa and ensure long-term, stable power generation. From laboratory detection to field validation in large-scale commercial and industrial projects, the product’s reliable performance in high-temperature regions has been consistently confirmed.
