POSCO to Start Operations at Phase 2 of Argentina’s Sal de Oro Plant

Argentine local media outlet El Tribuno reported on July 19 local time that POSCO’s Phase 2 lithium carbonate plant at Sal de Oro is expected to be completed in early August and begin full-scale operations.

With the start-up of the Phase 2 facility, POSCO will strengthen its lithium carbonate production capacity and lay the foundation for establishing an annual production system of 100,000 mt in the future.

LS Corp. announced on August 14 that its second-quarter revenue reached KRW 11.0236 trillion, with operating profit of KRW 595.6 billion.
