[SMM Aluminum Flash News] UK Expands Industrial Support Scheme to Benefit More Aluminum Manufacturers

The UK Government has expanded eligibility under the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS), adding four industrial classifications covering aluminum casting, metal forming and surface treatment. The move is expected to reduce electricity costs for more aluminum manufacturers and strengthen the competitiveness of the UK's aluminum industry.
