Published: Jul 20, 2026 10:39
[SMM Aluminum Express News] Arrow Minerals has received a new three-year Industrial Exploration Permit for its 100%-owned Niagara Bauxite Project in Guinea, covering the same 499.61 km² area as its previous license. The permit, granted on 15 July, includes an initial three-year term with renewal options and requires a minimum exploration expenditure of US$1.51 million over the period, with fieldwork to commence within six months. The company said the new permit clears the way to complete its acquisition of the Niagara Project and continue exploration activities. Arrow added it is still awaiting formal clarification from the Guinean government regarding the status of its Simandou North exploration permit, which was previously reported in local media as being at risk of cancellation.
