Primary Aluminum Imports
Data from the General Administration of Customs indicates domestic primary aluminum imports stood at approximately 167,000 tonnes in June 2026, down 19.7% month-on-month and 13.1% year-on-year. Cumulative domestic primary aluminum imports for January-June 2026 totalled around 1.286 million tonnes, rising 2.9% year on year.
Primary Aluminum Exports
Per customs data, domestic primary aluminum exports reached roughly 38,000 tonnes in June 2026, climbing 73.1% month-on-month and 95.4% year-on-year. Cumulative primary aluminum exports from January to June 2026 hit about 113,000 tonnes, representing a year-on-year growth of around 31.8%.
