[SMM Aluminum Express News] Indonesia's mandatory B50 biodiesel policy could increase mining operating costs by around 10%, according to the Indonesian Mining Professionals Association (PERHAPI). Higher fuel consumption, reduced engine efficiency and increased maintenance costs for heavy equipment are expected to raise production costs, potentially affecting the competitiveness of bauxite, alumina and other mining operations.
