Iran Warns of Strait Blockade, US Continues Airstrikes Amid Escalating Tensions

According to sources, Iran has conveyed a message to the Houthi forces in Yemen: once the US attacks Iran’s power grid, the Houthis will blockade the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Meanwhile, the Iranian military has stressed that the Strait of Hormuz issue is a non-negotiable "red line" for Iran, and that even under US pressure, it will never resume the opening of the strait. It also made it clear that if hostile actions against Iran persist, the conflict will spread to new areas.

The US Central Command announced that the US military launched a new round of airstrikes against Iran at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time that day, marking the fifth consecutive night of US strikes on Iran. In this round of airstrikes, some Iranian airports, bridges, and railway hubs were targeted.
