Australian Gold & Copper (AGC) announced that its Achilles polymetallic deposit in the Cobar Basin, southern New South Wales, has been extended 200 to 400 metres down-dip from the existing resource of 38.5 million ounces of silver equivalent.

Northern assays showed an intersection of 14 metres grading 85 g/t silver equivalent from 388 metres downhole, including a 1-metre zone grading 400 g/t AgEq.

Assays for two additional deep holes are pending and may provide further information on the scale potential of the deposit.

Infinity Mining encountered high-grade ore in rock chip sampling at its Hillside project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Details of the intersection are:

copper grade 9.4%, silver 163 g/t, gold 0.7 g/t, zinc 0.7%.

Sampling covered 10 oxidised ore outcrops along a 9-kilometre mineralised corridor.

Analysis suggests this may be a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit.

Hillside is located approximately 50 kilometres from Develop Global’s Yitirti VMS deposit.

The company plans to undertake a maiden drilling program.

Southern Cross Gold reported thick, high-grade intersections from infill drilling at its Sunday Creek project in Victoria.

Highlight intersection includes:

an 8-metre intersection from 363 metres downhole grading 19.9 g/t gold equivalent, including a section in the upper part of the Golden Dyke zone which returned up to 7.1% antimony and 2.8 g/t gold.
