[The artificial intelligence application popularization rate in China's industrial enterprises above designated size has surpassed 30%]

The 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance was held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20. Gan Xiaobin, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a Shanghai municipal press conference on July 7 that the annual production of complete humanoid robots is expected to exceed 100,000 units this year. The manufacturing sector is the main battlefield for AI-enabled applications. Currently, the AI application adoption rate among China's industrial enterprises above designated size has surpassed 30%, and humanoid robots have begun to "enter factories and workshops." The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is currently collaborating with all parties to deeply implement special initiatives such as "Model-Data Resonance" and "Humanoid Robots and Embodied AI Real-Scene Training," aiming to identify high-value application scenarios. During the conference, the China-BRICS AI Development and Cooperation Center will release the "International AI Ethics Governance Action Plan.

Indonesia has agreed to move forward with cross-border electricity exports to Singapore following a meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. State investment agency Danantara has been appointed to implement the project, which includes cooperation in power trade, energy, digital economy, and cybersecurity.
