Hitachi Energy and FRIEM Partner for Electrified Solutions in Metal Refining, Aluminum, and Green Hydrogen

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Hitachi Energy and FRIEM have signed a collaboration agreement to develop electrified solutions for metal refining, aluminium smelting, and green hydrogen production.

The partnership will combine Hitachi Energy’s grid integration and power quality technologies with FRIEM’s high-power rectifier and conversion systems to support industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, and the electrification of energy-intensive industries.
