[Minmetals New Energy: Wholly-Owned Subsidiary Wins Lawsuit Involving RMB 181 Million]

On June 30, Minmetals New Energy announced that its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Hunan Changyuan Lithium New Energy Co., Ltd. and Jinchi Energy Materials Co., Ltd., have won a contract dispute lawsuit against Zhicun Lithium Group and others. The second-instance judgment was issued, dismissing the appeal and upholding the original ruling, with the subsidiaries prevailing. The case involves RMB 181 million and related interest, and the second-instance court acceptance fee of RMB 370,400 is to be borne by the appellant, Nan Jinxi. The company had previously made relevant bad debt provisions, and this ruling may increase current-period profits, subject to the final audit results.

On the evening of July 30, Ronbay Technology issued an announcement stating its plan to invest in the construction of the Xiantao annual 300,000-ton sodium cathode material integrated project. The project has a planned total capacity of 300,000 tons per year, to be constructed in three phases and gradually put into production: Phase I for 50,000 tons, Phase II for 100,000 tons, and Phase III for 150,000 tons. The overall construction period is estimated at 24 months. The total investment for the project is approximately 4.723 billion yuan, of which 4 billion yuan is for fixed assets and 723 million yuan is for working capital. The project plans to cover approximately 380 mu of land, with a total floor area of about 350,000 square meters. Construction will include three production workshops and supporting facilities such as a wastewater treatment station, air compressor station, power distribution station, and warehouse.

The project, located at Qingjiang Road in the development zone, Mingshan District, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, has a total investment of 55 million yuan, with environmental protection investment of 1.255 million yuan. The project will lease a 37.7-mu factory site with existing structures, with a total floor area of approximately 5,798.5 square meters, primarily for the research and development of silicon-carbon anode materials (including silicon monoxide/carbon composites, etc.).
