On June 29, Toyota Motor Corporation announced that its global production in May 2026 was 857,765 units, down 5.8% YoY, and global sales were 885,207 units, down 7.4% YoY. The company stated that effective April 2026, the group's reporting scope had been adjusted to include only Toyota and Daihatsu, excluding Hino.
