[SEMI: Global 300mm Memory Fab Equipment Investment to Surpass $50 Billion for First Time in 2026]

The SEMI report forecasts that global 300mm memory wafer fab equipment investment is expected to surpass the $50 billion mark for the first time in 2026, reaching $52 billion, up 29% YoY. By segment, DRAM equipment spending at $37 billion accounts for 71% of the total, up 29% YoY; NAND equipment spending is expected to rise 28% YoY, almost in sync, to $14 billion. Global 300mm memory wafer fab equipment investment is expected to grow another 11% YoY in 2027, to $57 billion; the overall CAGR from 2024 to 2029 is expected to reach +19%, showing that capacity construction will remain robust in the long term.

Indonesia's Ministry of Industry plans to establish a National Industrial Zone Council (DKIN) to strengthen nationwide coordination of industrial zone development.
