【SMM Steel】Baker Hughes: US & Canada’s rig counts grow w-o-w for week ending June 18

【SMM Steel】According to Baker Hughes data for the week ending June 18, 2026, the US rig count rose by one to 563 units week-on-week. Natural gas drilling rigs increased by one to 122, while oil rigs held at 433 and miscellaneous rigs remained at eight, marking a year-on-year increase of nine units. Over the same period, Canada’s rig count climbed by six to 186 units week-on-week, up by 47 units year-on-year.
