Turkey Extends 22% Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Aluminum Foil for Five Years

On May 24, 2026, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Communiqué No. 2026/16, making a final affirmative ruling in the second sunset review of the anti‑dumping measures on aluminum foil with a thickness of ≤0.2 mm originating in China, deciding to continue imposing an anti‑dumping duty of 22% of the CIF value. The products involved fall under Turkish customs codes 7607.11 and 7607.19. The measures entered into force on the date of publication of the communiqué and will remain in effect for five years.

SHFE Cast Aluminum Alloy Warrants Up 390 mt to 17,731 mt on July 30

[SMM Flash] SHFE data showed that on July 30, total registered warrants for cast aluminum alloy stood at 17,731 mt, an increase of 390 mt from the previous trading day. Specifically, registered warrants in Shanghai totaled 1,506 mt, unchanged from the previous trading day; Guangdong totaled 1,668 mt, down 29 mt; Jiangsu totaled 3,806 mt, unchanged; Zhejiang totaled 6,902 mt, up 419 mt; Chongqing totaled 3,064 mt, unchanged; and Sichuan totaled 785 mt, unchanged.
