【SMM Steel】Australia initiates AD probe on galvanised steel from South Korea & Vietnam

【SMM Steel】On June 3, 2026, Australia's ADC initiated an AD investigation into galvanised steel imports from South Korea and Vietnam following an application by BlueScope Steel. The investigation period covers Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2025, with the injury examination period starting Jan 1, 2022. Products covered are flat-rolled zinc-coated steel 0.3-3.5mm thick, with HS codes including 7210.49.00.55, etc. Named companies: Dongkuk Steel, Dongkuk Coated Metal, POSCO, Hoa Sen, and Nam Kim. The SEF is due by Sep 9, 2026, with final recommendations by Oct 26, 2026.
