To strengthen visibility into lithium carbonate inventory trends and expand market data coverage, we have implemented a significant upgrade to our existing data system.

Dear Users,

To further enhance the monitoring of lithium carbonate inventory trends and improve the representativeness of our data, we have implemented a significant upgrade to our existing inventory data system. We hereby announce the relevant details as follows:

Starting next Thursday (May 21, 2026), the platform will officially launch the upgraded SMM lithium carbonate sample weekly inventory data.

Key Upgrades:

  • Broader Coverage: The upstream and downstream sample coverage rates will remain unchanged, while other segments (including traders and battery cell manufacturers) will see an expanded sample scope. Specifically, the trader sample coverage rate will be raised to 70%-80%, thereby providing a more comprehensive and objective reflection of overall industry inventory change trends and offering a more valuable market indicator.
  • Dual-Track Parallel Operation: The original inventory data will continue to be updated and retained, and will be displayed in parallel with the optimized larger-sample data. This arrangement allows clients to flexibly select their preferred reference data source based on their individual analytical habits and data precision requirements.

We believe this upgrade will help clients more accurately grasp the pace of the lithium carbonate market. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and trust!

Should you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
