China's Manufacturing PMI Rises to 52.2 in April, Marking Strongest Growth Since Late 2020

The latest China Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) jointly released by S&P Global and RatingDog showed that the RatingDog manufacturing PMI came in at 52.2 in April, up from 50.8 in the previous month, remaining above the 50.0 mark for the fifth consecutive month.The first round of PMI surveys in Q2 2026 indicated that overall business conditions in China's manufacturing sector improved significantly, posting the strongest performance since late 2020.
