Brazil's Industry Minister Rejects Proposal for State-Owned Critical Minerals Company

Brazil's Industry Minister Marcio Elias Rosa said on the 24th that the country saw no need to establish a state-owned critical minerals company and opposed the proposal to create a state-owned entity.

"There is absolutely no need to establish a state-owned enterprise to engage in critical minerals exploration or processing," Rosa said. He added that the current regulatory framework already provided incentives for the industry.
