SMM April 30 update:

       The mainstream brand 0# zinc transaction price in Ningbo market was around 23,565-23,660 yuan/mt. Regular brands in Ningbo were quoted at a discount of 20 yuan/mt against the 2606 contract, and at a premium of 20 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot cargo. The Ningbo region began quoting against the 2606 contract. Today was the last trading day before the Labour Day holiday. There were almost no traders making shipments in the market. Downstream alloy plants also successively planned to go on holiday. Earlier raw material stocking had been completed, and there was almost no inquiry or purchase today. The holiday atmosphere in the market was strong.
