Indonesia's Key BRI Aluminum Project Reaches Milestone with Successful Electrolysis Cell Energization

Recently, the Indonesia North Kalimantan aluminum project, a key Belt and Road Initiative project undertaken by the Sixth Metallurgical Construction Company, reached an important milestone — all 122 electrolysis cells in Section 3 of the electrolysis workshop were successfully energized in a single attempt, with all operating parameters stable and up to standard, meeting design specifications. This marked the project's smooth transition from the construction phase to the load commissioning and production sprint phase.
