Jingsheng and Gaoce Enter Tesla PV Supply Chain, 2026 Delivery on Track

Published: Apr 17, 2026 13:10
[SMM Flash] Recently, publicly available market information showed that Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical and Gaoce Technology successively entered Tesla's 100GW PV entire industry chain supply chain in Texas, US, with core equipment orders to be delivered in concentrated batches in 2026. According to an SMM survey, Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical secured a 10GW silicon wafer production line order from Tesla, supplying 210mm monocrystalline furnaces, quartz crucibles, and slicing equipment, expected to be completed in Q3, with an order value of approximately 3 billion yuan. Gaoce Technology won the slicing equipment order, focusing on large-size, ultra-thin silicon wafer processing, to be delivered in H2 2026.

[SMM PV Flash News] SEG Solar's Third Manufacturing Facility Bringing Annual Manufacturing Capacity to 10.6 GW
[SMM PV Flash News: SEG Solar's Third Manufacturing Facility Bringing Annual Manufacturing Capacity to 10.6 GW] SEG Solar, a US-based solar module manufacturer, has announced plans to build its third US module manufacturing facility in Texas, with an annual production capacity of 4.6GW, bringing the company's planned total capacity to 10.6GW. SMM believes that SEG Solar's continued capacity buildout aims to deepen US localization not just at the module assembly level, but progressively upstream as well, as SEG has already initiated planning for an ingot and wafer facility in Indonesia. That said, near-term supply chain resilience will therefore likely continue to depend on a hybrid model combining domestic module capacity with strategically diversified upstream sourcing outside China.
