【SMM Steel】Taiwan's Yusco successfully tests upgraded Steckel mill with USTB technical support

【SMM Steel】Yusco produced the first coil from its upgraded Steckel mill with technical support from USTB's Institute of Engineering Technology. The automation group provided an intelligent control system using proprietary tech to replace foreign systems. The flexible facility has 1 Mt/y capacity for high-end stainless and carbon steel plates/coils. The upgrade overcomes precision rolling and quality stability challenges. USTB's experience ensured stable operations, supporting Yusco's shift to smarter manufacturing. The collaboration enhances product quality and competitiveness.
