Establishment of Nanhai District Hydrogen Energy Industry Association: Guangdong Hydrogen Power Contributes to Regional Industrial Synergistic Development with Hydrogen-Powered Refrigerated Trucks

Published: Feb 5, 2026 15:29

On January 28, the founding ceremony of the Foshan Nanhai Hydrogen Energy Industry Association was held at the Xianhu Laboratory. Guangdong Hydrogen Power Technology, as a core driver in the regional hydrogen energy transportation sector, was invited to attend and engaged in discussions with multiple member companies on cooperation and jointly mapping out the blueprint for industrial development.

At the event, Guangdong Hydrogen Power's latest generation hydrogen fuel cell refrigerated truck made its debut. This car model boasts advantages such as "zero emissions, long driving range, and strong temperature control," and has already been deployed on multiple cold chain logistics routes in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, becoming a highlight of green freight demonstration. With its excellent fast refueling and low-temperature start-up performance, it is well-suited for cold chain scenarios requiring high timeliness and temperature sensitivity, such as fresh produce and pharmaceuticals, precisely meeting the market's demand for cleanliness and efficiency.

The establishment of the association marks a new phase of collaborative development for Nanhai's hydrogen energy industry. A representative from Guangdong Hydrogen Power stated that, leveraging the association's platform, the company will deepen cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises in areas such as technological R&D and scenario expansion, promoting the large-scale application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in urban distribution, port transportation, and other scenarios. In the future, the company will focus on promoting hydrogen energy vehicles and building a service system, adopting a market-oriented approach, and collaborating with partners to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen energy transportation, thereby contributing to the "dual carbon" goals.

World's First Multi-Source DC Project in Jiangsu Completes Phase II, Boosts Cross-River Power Transmission
On February 12, the second - phase project of the ±200 kV DC power transmission project from Yangzhou to Zhenjiang in Jiangsu, which is the world's first multi - source commutated DC power transmission project and China's first AC - DC hybrid cross - river project, was completed and put into operation. The project's transmission line is about 228 kilometers long, with a transmission capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. It passes through three cities (Huai'an, Yangzhou, and Zhenjiang) and seven counties. Among them, a 47 - kilometer new - built DC transmission line is erected on the same tower as the 500 kV AC line, and two new converter stations are built. Without adding a new cross - Yangtze - River power transmission channel, the original cross - river power transmission capacity has been

Shaanxi Boosts Power Capacity to 127GW, Invests in Grid and Renewable Energy Growth
It is learned that Shaanxi Province's power generation installed capacity has increased from 72.75 million kilowatts in 2020 to 127 million kilowatts in 2025, with the installed capacity of renewable energy growing by about 2.7 times. Meanwhile, the province has invested a total of 120 billion yuan to strengthen the power grid and expand transmission channels, making the power grid more robust and reliable. Statistics show that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Shaanxi put into operation over 10 million kilowatts of clean and efficient coal-fired power generation capacity, and the scale of coal-fired power projects under construction that meet regulations reached a record high for the same period. The total scale of coal-fired power plants undergoing energy-saving and carbon-reduction
