Profitability Variations Across Major Industries in 2025: NBS Report

In 2025, the profitability of major industries was as follows: the smelting and pressing of ferrous metals increased by 3.0 times compared with the previous year, the smelting and pressing of non-ferrous metals (22.6%), the manufacture of computers, communication and other electronic equipment (19.5%), the production and supply of electric power and heat power (13.9%), the manufacture of special-purpose equipment (5.7%), the manufacture of electrical machinery and apparatus (4.9%), the manufacture of general-purpose equipment (4.2%), the processing of food from agricultural products (3.2%), the manufacture of automobiles (0.6%), the processing of petroleum, coal and other fuels reduced losses compared with the previous year, the manufacture of non-metallic mineral products (-1.7%), the manufacture of raw chemical materials and chemical products (-7.3%), the textile industry (-12.0%), the extraction of petroleum and natural gas (-18.7%), and the mining and washing of coal (-41.8%).
