Baogang Electric (Sending) Hits Over 1,700 Rare Earth Motor Deliveries in 2025, Boosting 'Two Rare Earth Bases'

According to Baogang Electric (Sending) Company, in 2025, the company delivered over 1,700 rare earth permanent magnet motors, adding new momentum to the construction of the "two rare earth bases."

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Baogang Electric (Sending) Company closely followed the national "dual carbon" goals and the high-quality development direction of the manufacturing industry, precisely positioning itself in the new energy sector. It established a new energy division, focusing on green manufacturing areas such as wind and solar power, hydrogen storage, and permanent magnet motors. The company completed the R&D of 39 models across 7 series of rare earth permanent magnet motors and achieved small-batch production of wind power generators. Notably, in 2025, the permanent magnet motor assembly workshop built by Baogang Electric (Sending) Company was fully put into operation, forming specialized and large-scale production capacity, which laid a solid hardware foundation for the breakthrough in annual delivery volume.

[SMM Rare Earth Price Flash] As of now, driven by the rise in futures prices, neodymium praseodymium oxide has seen small-volume transactions by some traders at 730,000-740,000 yuan/mt. Driven by rising raw material prices, coupled with tender procurement of Pr-Nd alloy by major magnetic material plants, metal quotations were also raised to 900,000 yuan/mt, with actual transactions following up. The latest market quotation for gadolinium oxide was 230,000 yuan/mt, and quotations for gadolinium iron were also raised to 215,000-220,000 yuan/mt, driven by downstream tender procurement.
