Peru Issues Final Anti-Dumping Ruling on Stainless Steel Sinks from China

On January 25, 2026, the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies, and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property of Peru issued Announcement No. 001-2026/CDB-INDECOPI in the Official Gazette El Peruano, making an affirmative final antidumping determination on stainless steel sinks weighing less than 23 kg originating from China. It decided to impose antidumping duties on the subject products. Among them, the duty for subject products weighing ≤5.2 kg is $1.56/kg, and the duty for subject products weighing >5.2 kg but <23 kg is $0.50/kg. The case involves products under Peruvian tariff headings 7324.10.00.00, 7324.29.00.00, and 7324.90.00.00, excluding stainless steel sinks weighing ≥23 kg. The announcement takes effect the day after its publication and remains valid for five years.

On January 11, 2025, Peru initiated an antidumping investigation on stainless steel sinks originating from China. The dumping investigation period for the case was from July 2023 to June 2024, and the injury investigation period was from January 2021 to June 2024.
