SHFE Copper Edges Up 1.26% at Close; Delivery Warrants Decline

[SMM SHFE Copper Closing Comments] During the session, the most-traded SHFE copper contract rose above 103,800 yuan/mt in early trading, but gave back some gains in the afternoon. By the close, the most-traded SHFE copper contract settled at 101,880 yuan/mt, with the increase narrowing to 1.26%. On January 26, SHFE copper delivery warrants decreased by 1,479 mt to 145,314 mt, mainly driven by a decline in Guangdong, while Shanghai and Jiangsu continued to increase.
