On January 21, 2026, BYD Co., Ltd. disclosed its "Record of Investor Relations Activities." To date, BYD has successfully delivered over 500 energy storage projects, with its applications reaching more than 110 countries and regions worldwide. From January 13 to 15, BYD Energy Storage showcased its leading technologies, innovative products, and energy storage solutions at an event in the UAE, featuring products equipped with the world's largest mass-produced 2710Ah dedicated energy storage blade. In the Saudi region, BYD Energy Storage has implemented the world's largest grid-side energy storage project, with a capacity of 12.5 GWh. In the automotive sector, BYD achieved annual sales of 4.6 million vehicles in 2025, maintaining its position as the top-selling automaker and brand in the Chinese automotive market and the global leader in new energy vehicle sales. Its overseas annual sales exceeded 1 million vehicles for the first time. In 2026, the company will launch plug-in hybrid models with large batteries and build the "Eye of the God" technology matrix in the field of intelligent technology, continuously solidifying its competitiveness in the industry.

1 Billion m²/Year Dry-Process Separator Project For Lithium/Sodium Batteries Lands In Nanning

Recently, Nanning Urban Construction Investment Group and Huahui New Material Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement for the lithium/sodium battery dry-process separator intelligent manufacturing project. The total investment for the project is approximately 500 million yuan. It plans to build a new production line with an annual capacity of 1 billion square meters of dry-process separators for lithium/sodium batteries. The project will introduce Guangxi's first new-generation dry-process uniaxial stretching and 4.2-meter-wide biaxial stretching battery separator production line. It is expected that upon reaching full capacity, the annual output value will be approximately 800 million yuan, creating 170 jobs, and establishing the first battery base film production base in Guangxi.
