Cobalt Chloride: Market Remained Quiet Before the Holiday, Transaction Prices Held Steady

iconJan 22, 2026 17:35

This week, the trading atmosphere in the cobalt chloride market remained largely consistent with last week, with overall performance being sluggish. Smelters' mainstream quotations held steady in the range of 115,000-118,000 yuan/mt; traders and recycling enterprises also raised their quotations to around 115,000 yuan/mt. In terms of transactions, the highest transaction price in the market was still 115,000 yuan/mt, with sporadic transactions slightly below this level. Due to the approaching Chinese New Year and relatively sufficient downstream stockpiling, the likelihood of wild price swings before the holiday was expected to be low.
