In December, the production of raw coal and crude oil by industrial enterprises above the designated size (hereinafter referred to as "above-scale industry") remained stable, natural gas production grew steadily, and power generation continued to increase.
I. Production of Raw Coal, Crude Oil, and Natural Gas and Related Information
Raw coal production experienced a slight decline. In December, above-scale industrial raw coal output reached 440 million mt, down 1.0% YoY; the daily average production was 14.1 million mt.
From January to December, above-scale industrial raw coal output totaled 4.83 billion mt, up 1.2% YoY.

Crude oil production remained stable. In December, above-scale industrial crude oil output was 17.8 million mt, down 0.6% YoY; the daily average production was 574,000 mt.
From January to December, above-scale industrial crude oil output reached 216.05 million mt, up 1.5% YoY.
The growth rate of crude oil processing accelerated. In December, above-scale industrial crude oil processing volume was 62.46 million mt, up 5.0% YoY, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.1 percentage points compared to November; the daily average processing volume was 2.015 million mt.
From January to December, above-scale industrial crude oil processing volume totaled 737.59 million mt, up 4.1% YoY.

Natural gas production grew steadily. In December, above-scale industrial natural gas output was 23 billion m³, up 5.1% YoY; the daily average production was 740 million m³.
From January to December, above-scale industrial natural gas output reached 261.9 billion m³, up 6.2% YoY.

II. Power Generation Situation
Power generation by above-scale industry continued to grow. In December, above-scale industrial power generation was 858.6 billion kWh, up 0.1% YoY; the daily average generation was 27.7 billion kWh. From January to December, above-scale industrial power generation totaled 9,715.9 billion kWh, up 2.2% YoY.
By energy source, in December, the decline in thermal power by above-scale industry narrowed, while the growth rates of hydropower, nuclear power, wind power, and solar power slowed down. Specifically, thermal power by above-scale industry fell by 3.2% YoY, with the decline narrowing by 1.0 percentage point compared to November; hydropower by above-scale industry increased by 4.1%, with the growth rate slowing down by 13.0 percentage points compared to November; nuclear power by above-scale industry rose by 3.1%, with the growth rate slowing down by 1.6 percentage points compared to November; wind power by above-scale industry grew by 8.9%, with the growth rate slowing down by 13.1 percentage points compared to November; solar power by above-scale industry increased by 18.2%, with the growth rate slowing down by 5.2 percentage points compared to November.
