[SMM Flash: Jinmeng Rare Earth's 4,000 mt NdFeB Scrap Recycling Automated Production Line Enters Trial Production Phase]
China Northern Rare Earth's subsidiary Jinmeng Rare Earth has advanced its newly constructed automated production line for recycling NdFeB scrap, with an annual capacity of 4,000 mt, into the trial production stage. As a key component of China Northern Rare Earth's strategy to build a "One South, One North" 10kt-level comprehensive utilization system for rare earth resources, this project will not only enhance the resource recycling system integrating Pr-Nd alloy and scrap but also fill the gap in the rare earth scrap processing industry in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The production line leads the industry in equipment, technology, and automation. It particularly emphasizes the application of full-element recycling technology, achieving comprehensive recovery and efficient utilization of metal elements in scrap and fully unlocking the potential value of scrap resources. Upon official operation, the project is expected to process up to 16,000 mt of NdFeB scrap annually and produce approximately 4,000 mt of rare earth oxides.

Rare Earth Prices Surge: Neodymium Praseodymium Oxide and Gadolinium Iron See Increased Transactions
[SMM Rare Earth Price Flash] As of now, driven by the rise in futures prices, neodymium praseodymium oxide has seen small-volume transactions by some traders at 730,000-740,000 yuan/mt. Driven by rising raw material prices, coupled with tender procurement of Pr-Nd alloy by major magnetic material plants, metal quotations were also raised to 900,000 yuan/mt, with actual transactions following up. The latest market quotation for gadolinium oxide was 230,000 yuan/mt, and quotations for gadolinium iron were also raised to 215,000-220,000 yuan/mt, driven by downstream tender procurement.
