[SMM Iron & Steel] Thyssenkrupp and Jindal Steel Discuss Phased 60% Stake Acquisition

Thyssenkrupp and Jindal Steel are considering a "phased sale" structure for Thyssenkrupp’s steel division (TKSE). The proposed deal would see Jindal Steel initially acquire a 60% majority stake, with the remaining 40% to be transferred in future tranches dependent on restructuring milestones. A Jindal delegation is currently in Germany for technical due diligence at the Duisburg plant.
