China Huaneng Group Adjusts 6GW Procurement Tender, Boosts High-Efficiency Module Share

Recently, China Huaneng Group announced a 6GW centralised procurement project. According to the company's notice, this tender represents a revised version of the original procurement notice issued on 22 August 2025, re-released on 22 December 2025. The original tender package for the 0.5GW low-efficiency module segment (conversion efficiency between 22.3% and below 23.1%) has been removed. while the 3GW medium-efficiency module segment (conversion efficiency 23.1% or above but below 23.8%) has been reduced by 0.5GW. This combined 1GW capacity has been allocated to the high-efficiency module segment (conversion efficiency 23.8% or above), significantly increasing its proportion within the tender.
