[SMM PV News] Pacific Energy Installs 9.6 MW Solar for Exmouth Hybrid Microgrid

Pacific Energy has completed installing over 16,000 solar panels (9.6 MW) for a hybrid power system in Exmouth, Western Australia, which also features a 10 MW/49.6 MWh battery and a 7 MW gas backup. Scheduled to come online by mid-year under a 20-year PPA with Horizon Power, the project aims to supply up to 80% of the town's electricity from renewables and enables extended periods of gas-free operation.
