[SMM Copper Foil Market Update] China's Copper foil enterprises engaged in stockpiling, leading to an increase in finished product inventory levels. In December, the SMM copper foil finished product inventory days stood at 3.11 days, up 0.18 days MoM; raw material inventory days were 4.57 days, down 0.02 days MoM.

Chinese Smelters’ Copper Anode Inventory Levels Declined

[SMM Copper Anode Flash News] As the price difference between copper and scrap narrowed in mid-to-late March, copper scrap supply was tight, reducing the supply of scrap-derived copper anode. SMM data showed that Chinese smelters’ days of inventories for copper anode stood at 7.36 days in March 2026, down 0.56 days MoM.
