






South Korean President Lee Jae Myung arrived in China on January 4 after taking office, commencing his first official visit. A 200-plus-member economic delegation accompanying him drew particular attention. Organized by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, South Korea’s largest private economic organization, the delegation included numerous industry giants as Samsung Electronics, SK Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and LG Group Chairman.
On the morning of January 5, the China-South Korea Business Forum, jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry, was held in Beijing. According to Yonhap News Agency, the two sides signed a total of 32 cooperation documents at the forum, covering a wide range of fields including artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous driving, consumer goods, and IP-based cultural creation, injecting new momentum into industrial and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
