Korea Eximbank Invests USD 241 Million in Guam’s Largest Solar and ESS Project

The Export–Import Bank of Korea has confirmed the provision of a total of USD 241 million (approximately KRW 310 billion) to finance a large-scale solar power and energy storage system (ESS) project to be built in Yona, Guam.

The project will include a 132 MW solar power plant along with a 325 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to support it. Around 200,000 solar panels will be installed across a site equivalent in size to roughly 360 football fields, making it the largest solar and ESS project in Guam.
