ROX Motor's Chinese-spec ADAMAS flagship SUV hits market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 28, ROX Motor officially put the China-spec ADAMAS onto the market, positioning it as the brand's new flagship SUV. The model is offered in two configurations: a seven-seat Outdoor All-round Edition and a six-seat Luxury Executive Edition. Official list prices are set at 349,900 yuan and 359,900 yuan, respectively, with limited-time launch prices lowered to 334,900 yuan and 344,900 yuan.

Staying true to ROX Motor's signature boxy aesthetic, the ADAMAS cuts an imposing figure with a body length exceeding five meters and a width approaching two meters. Buyers can choose from five exterior finishes, including Desert Gold, Forest Green, Deep Rock Grey, Glacier White, and a special Star Black "Black Warrior" edition. All variants come standard with soft-close powered doors, designed to shut smoothly even on slopes or in tight parking spaces, underscoring the model's premium attention to everyday usability.

Inside, the cabin follows a "simplicity mastering complexity" design philosophy. Seats are extensively upholstered in premium Nappa leather, while the headliner features microfiber suede, creating a refined ambience across four interior color themes. Audio is handled by a 14-speaker, 7.1-channel sound system tuned by ARKAMYS, paired with Sound Stage algorithms to deliver precise acoustic imaging.

Making its debut in the lineup is an 8.5-liter smart heating-and-cooling refrigerator, capable of switching between 0–7°C cooling and 35–50°C warming to accommodate passengers' needs on long journeys.

Seating configurations are tailored to different lifestyles. The six-seat Luxury Executive Edition features dual zero-gravity aviation-style seats on both sides, offering up to a 150-degree recline along with ventilation, heating, and multi-point massage for a first-class travel experience. The seven-seat Outdoor All-round Edition emphasizes flexibility, with an extra-wide central aisle and one-touch fold-flat functionality that transforms the interior into a bed-like layout, catering to family trips, road journeys, and camping adventures.

Powering the ADAMAS is ROX Motor's extended-range electric system with standard all-wheel drive. Dual motors deliver a combined output of up to 350 kW and 740 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.5 seconds. A 44.5 kWh battery supplied by CATL, paired with a 70-liter fuel tank, supports a battery-powered range of 215 km and a combined range of 1,405 km under the CLTC cycle, aiming to eliminate range anxiety across diverse driving scenarios.

The chassis features an all-aluminum setup with double wishbones up front and an H-arm rear suspension. Standard equipment includes ROX Motor's in-house developed closed air suspension and DCC adaptive damping system, which continuously monitor road conditions and adjust suspension stiffness in milliseconds, ensuring a composed and refined ride on both highways and uneven surfaces.

For off-road use, the air suspension offers a total adjustment range of 140 mm, with a maximum lift of 80 mm at the touch of a button, transforming the vehicle from a low-slung road setup into a capable off-road stance. Seven terrain modes—including road, mountain, mud, and sand—are available, complemented by a maximum wading depth of 770 mm and claimed full-grade climbing capability.

The ADAMAS runs on the ROX OS intelligent cockpit system, supporting four-screen interconnectivity, wireless CarPlay, and more than 10 in-vehicle applications spanning navigation, entertainment, and daily services. A newly designed "Luminous Realm" interface theme enhances visual clarity, presenting driving information through layered lighting effects for intuitive interaction.

ROX Motor's voice assistant, known as "Little Stone," combines a lively virtual avatar with large AI language models such as DeepSeek. Capable of understanding multi-turn conversations and chained commands, it enables efficient vehicle control while also offering conversational companionship and real-time assistance during long drives.

In terms of driver assistance, the ADAMAS comes standard with an L2+ system that includes highway Navigation on Autopilot, lane-centering assistance for urban roads with traffic light recognition, and intelligent parking functions, covering the most common scenarios encountered in daily driving.
