【Shandong Launches 415 Million Yuan Waste Lithium Battery Recycling Project】 Recently, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, published the acceptance notice for the environmental impact assessment documents of the "Waste Lithium Battery Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Project" by a renewable resources company in the region. Upon completion, the project will annually recycle and process 10,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate battery packs, 10,000 tons of ternary battery packs, 10,100 tons of lithium iron phosphate cells, 2,800 tons of ternary cells, 4,000 tons of ternary cathode electrode sheets, and 1,600 tons of ternary anode electrode sheets.
