






According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's refined tin imports in November 2025 were 1,195 mt, down 66.05% YoY, but up 127.04% MoM. Total tin ingot imports from January to November 2025 reached 17,700 mt. The import arbitrage window was largely closed in November, and most of the imports came from unilateral positions previously taken by some traders on the LME tin futures, with the actual volume being limited.
China exported 1,946 mt of refined tin in November 2025, up 33.57% YoY and 31.46% MoM. The exports were mainly conducted under Processing with Imported Materials and were sold to major refined tin consumption regions such as the Netherlands, South Korea, India, and Japan. Total tin ingot exports from January to November 2025 amounted to 20,000 mt, up 32.41% YoY, resulting in a net export of refined tin of 2,298 mt during the January-November 2025 period.
