Despite facing extreme weather challenges, PT Central Omega Resources Tbk recorded a solid performance in Q3 2025 with 300,000 tons of nickel ore production and 450,000 tons in sales, keeping its revenue and net profit targets firmly on track. Director Andi Jaya highlighted a strategic shift toward selling Limonite ore to support Indonesia's growing battery industry, specifically for High-Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) facilities that produce Mixed Sulfide Precipitate (MSP). This move capitalizes on the strong demand for MSP-based products compared to the sluggish stainless steel market, positioning the company’s Limonite-dominant reserves for significant growth as more HPAL plants begin commercial production through 2026.
