Suining Chengxin Lithium Solid-State Battery Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established, with its registered address in Shehong Economic Development Zone, Suining City, Sichuan Province, and its legal representative being Yao Kailin. The registered capital was 20 million yuan. Chengxin Lithium was established on December 29, 2001, and is a lithium chemical producer. Its business covers lithium mine mining and beneficiation, the production and sales of basic lithium chemicals and lithium metal products, having built a full chain of "lithium mine mining and beneficiation + lithium chemical processing + lithium metal manufacturing." Currently, Chengxin Lithium has completed a lithium chemical capacity of 137,000 mt and a lithium metal capacity of 500 mt in Deyang and Suining, Sichuan, and Indonesia. Among these, the Indonesian production site with an annual lithium chemical capacity of 60,000 mt is the largest overseas constructed mined lithium project by capacity scale.

Shenhuo Group started construction of a 50,000-tonne-per-year high-performance aluminum foil project for sodium-ion batteries in Shangqiu, Henan on Sep 16. The project includes about 40,000 sqm of workshops and smart warehousing, with 1850mm and 2150mm foil rolling mills, producing 8-20μm foil for Na-ion cathodes and anodes over a 24-month build period. Output will cover power and energy storage batteries, complementing its existing lithium battery foil capacity for a dual-track lithium-sodium strategy.
