Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Dongfeng Motor's VOYAH has introduced its Passion L sedan to the Chinese market, unveiling two PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) variants priced from 279,900 yuan to 309,900 yuan. Positioned in the upper midsize segment, the model comes equipped with Huawei's latest QianKun ADS 4 driver-assistance suite and the HarmonySpace 5.1 infotainment platform as standard across the lineup.

The Passion L adopts what VOYAH calls its "Tiandi Kunpeng" design philosophy, giving the sedan a broad and expressive front face. Wing-shaped LED headlamps connect to a full-width light bar, while an illuminated Voyah emblem anchors the center. The vertical waterfall grille—styled with 34 chrome fins and offered in black, gold or silver—adds a sense of scale, and the lower fascia integrates silver accents that conceal millimeter-wave radar sensors.

Along the sides, the sedan features a clean, sweeping profile highlighted by metallic window trim and flush door handles. Optional badging is available at the C-pillar. Measuring 5,125 millimeters long with a 3,010-millimeter wheelbase, the Passion L fits squarely into China's large-sedan category.

At the rear, the design echoes VOYAH's earlier PHEV models with slim, wing-like taillamps and a cleaner upper section that omits the previous vertical brake light. Buyers can choose from 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels offered in a range of multi-spoke and polished finishes.

Inside, VOYAH continues its nature-inspired "Mountain–Sea Horizon" theme, shaping the dashboard into an enveloping, crescent-like form. A sculpted center speaker anchors the upper console, surrounded by real ash-wood trim carved with natural contour patterns. The seats feature wave-pattern stitching that reinforces the cabin's upscale, handcrafted feel.

A 16.1-inch 3K display dominates the center console, boasting a 91% screen-to-body ratio and TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue-light emissions. HarmonySpace 5.1 powers the in-car experience, enabling multi-user voice recognition, seamless handoff of navigation and music between phone and vehicle, and NFC-based tap-to-share functions.

Power comes from VOYAH's LanHai hybrid system, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with dual electric motors. The combustion engine delivers 110 kW, while the front and rear motors add 150 kW and 230 kW respectively. A 63-kWh ternary lithium battery supports a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of up to 410 kilometers.

The chassis uses a double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear setup, with aluminum accounting for more than 90% of the structure. Air suspension allows a 65-millimeter ride-height adjustment, complemented by an intelligent "Magic Carpet" road-sensing system. Rear-wheel steering is also available, reducing the turning radius to as little as 5.6 meters, according to the company.

For driver assistance, the sedan integrates Huawei's QianKun ADS 4 platform, supported by 29 perception sensors, including a 192-line lidar, three 4D millimeter-wave radars and seven high-definition cameras. VOYAH says the system can detect stationary child-sized obstacles even in dark, backlit environments without street lighting, and can perform emergency braking at speeds up to 95 km/h. A total of 37 driver-assistance functions are available across both urban and highway scenarios. Notably, the city-level navigation assist operates without high-precision maps and enables point-to-point route guidance under a wide range of conditions.
