Shanghai (Gasgoo)- RoboSense said on December 5 that its LiDAR deliveries topped 150,000 units in November, extending the sharp momentum it saw a month earlier when shipments reached 120,000. The consecutive gains highlight the company's accelerating scale-up as demand from both the global automotive sector and the fast-growing robotics industry continues to rise.

The company attributes its rapid scale-up to a deeply integrated semiconductor stack built entirely in-house. RoboSense says it is the only LiDAR manufacturer worldwide that independently develops its transmitter, receiver and processing chips end-to-end, all of which carry automotive-grade AEC-Q certifications. This architecture—centered on a proprietary SPAD-SoC sensor and a two-dimensional addressable VCSEL system—reduces overall system complexity while enhancing performance, reliability and manufacturability. These technologies underpin its portfolio of fully digital lidar products, which has become the industry's only technology path to achieve true mass-production readiness across applications from ADAS and robotaxis to delivery robots and commercial robotics.

RoboSense's EM-series LiDARs have become particularly competitive in the automotive OEM market. As of late November, the supplier had secured nomination programs from 13 automakers—including SAIC Audi, IM Motors, an unnamed North American EV maker and a major European joint-venture brand—covering a total of 56 vehicle models. In the robotaxi segment, its EM4-plus-E1 sensor suite was also selected for DiDi Autonomous Driving's next-generation fleet.

The robotics business has quickly emerged as RoboSense's second major growth driver. In the third quarter, LiDAR shipments to robotics customers surged to 35,500 units—nearly four times higher than a year earlier. The company's E1 solid-state LiDAR family has undergone multiple iterations and is already being deployed at scale in autonomous delivery vehicles, commercial lawn-care robots and other service-robot applications.

With smart-vehicle penetration increasing worldwide and service robotics entering a period of rapid expansion, RoboSense is expected to maintain strong shipment growth in the months ahead. Its steady stream of OEM nominations and rising delivery volumes are helping solidify the company's scale advantages and ecosystem influence in the increasingly competitive LiDAR market.
