Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 4, ONVO brand announced that deliveries of its L90 SUV model had reached 40,000 units in the four months since launch, marking the fastest delivery ramp yet for a full-size all-electric SUV in China.

The ONVO L90 is the second model under ONVO, NIO's mass-market sub-brand created to target family buyers. Hitting the market on July 31, the three-row SUV comes in six- and seven-seat configurations with a starting price of 265,800 yuan. Customers opting for NIO's battery-as-a-service subscription can lower the upfront cost to 179,800 yuan.

Measuring 5,145 mm long on a 3,110 mm wheelbase, the L90 offers five exterior colors and a range of wheel-tire combinations, including 20-inch low-drag wheels with Goodyear silent tires and 21-inch five-spoke wheels paired with Michelin quiet tires. An optional powered step board is designed to help children and elderly passengers get in and out more easily.

Storage features include a 240-liter motorized front trunk that opens with a double-tap gesture, while the rear cargo area provides 430 liters of usable space even with all three rows occupied—enough for seven 20-inch suitcases.

The cabin is equipped with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats as standard. The six-seat variant features zero-gravity second-row chairs that recline to 135 degrees at the touch of a button, while the seven-seat version allows the middle seat to fold into a wide armrest. The L90 also carries nine airbags across all three rows, underscoring its safety positioning.

Power comes from a 340-kW rear motor in the Pro and Max trims, while the Ultra variant adds a front induction motor for a combined 440 kW. The rear-wheel-drive model accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, with the all-wheel-drive version cutting that time to 4.7 seconds. All models use an 85-kWh battery, enabling up to 605 km on the CLTC-rated cycle and an energy consumption of 14.5 kWh per 100 km for the RWD trim. The L90 supports 900-V ultra-fast charging—with a 30–80% charge taking 18 minutes—and full compatibility with NIO's network of more than 3,400 battery-swap stations across China.
