Shanghai (Gasgoo)- CATL has entered a three-party strategic partnership with Antong Holdings and Goodten Interlink, signing the agreement in Ningde in recent days to advance low-carbon logistics solutions across China.

According to a post CATL issued on Dec. 4 via its WeChat account, the collaboration aims to establish a new model for zero-carbon, multimodal logistics by aligning the three companies' strengths in battery technologies, nationwide logistics networks and integrated supply-chain solutions. The goal is to accelerate the sector's shift toward cleaner, lower-emission transportation.

Under the agreement, each partner will contribute distinct capabilities to create a closed-loop, mutually reinforcing system. Antong Holdings will leverage its extensive logistics infrastructure and multimodal transport scenarios. Goodten Interlink, a provider of green supply-chain solutions, will support vehicle-battery separation business models and the rollout of charging and swap-station networks. CATL will supply customized power-battery products along with full life-cycle health-management services. Together, these elements are designed to deliver logistics services that are cleaner, more reliable and more cost-efficient for end users as they pursue sustainable freight operations.

The partnership represents not just a business alignment but a broader overhaul of energy use across the logistics sector. By integrating zero-carbon power solutions into long-haul trucking, port operations and multimodal freight corridors, the three companies aim to establish replicable models for green logistics. As implementation progresses, they plan to expand these approaches to additional transport scenarios, positioning themselves at the forefront of China's transition toward zero-carbon mobility.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
