Gold Resource Corporation Reports Strong Initial Production From the Three Sisters Area at the Don David Gold Mine

On November 27th, Gold Resource Corporation reported strong initial production performance from the high-grade Three Sisters area at the Don David Gold Mine in Oaxaca, Mexico. CEO Allen Palmiere said the recent mine output confirms the upside potential of the zone, outperforming the company’s geological model and highlighting the possibility of meaningful cash flow contribution. From Nov 8 to Nov 14, 4,357 tonnes mined, 6,769 tonnes processed. From Nov 15 to Nov 21, 6,580 tonnes mined; 6,095 tonnes processed. Average NSR of $723/t, with mined tonnes 40% higher than planned.

The company also announced that it is resuming advancement of the Back Forty Project in Michigan, initiating engagement with consultants for a feasibility study and planning to restart the permitting process. A 2023 technical report showed the project’s NPV could exceed $430 million at higher gold price assumptions, making current economics significantly more robust.
