BYD sees YTD vehicle sales grow 11.3% YoY by Nov. 2025

For the first eleven months, the automaker sold a total of 4,182,038 vehicles, which rose 11.3% compared to the year-ago period.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD Company Limited ("BYD") reported a sales volume of 480,186 for the month of November 2025, sliding 5.25% year on year, but still growing 8.71% month on month. Notably, this is the best-ever monthly sales BYD achieved so far this year.

For the first eleven months, the automaker sold a total of 4,182,038 vehicles, which rose 11.3% compared to the year-ago period.

Of the vehicles sold last month, passenger vehicles (PVs) contributed sales of 474,921 units, which dropped 5.77% from a year earlier, but grew 8.71% from a month ago.

Breaking down the Nov. PV sales by powertrain solutions, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for 237,540 vehicles, indicating a 19.93% year-on-year jump and a 6.73% month-on-month rise, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) recorded a sales volume of 237,381 units, which fell 22.41% over the previous year, but climbed 10.77% over the previous month.

As for the Nov. performance of each brand or product lineup, the sales of BYD's Dynasty and Ocean series totaled 423,558 units. FANGCHENGBAO, DENZA, and YANGWANG brands recorded sales of 37,405 units, 13,255 units, and 703 units, respectively.

The commercial vehicle sector recorded a sales volume of 5,265 units (+87.97% YoY) for the month of November, resulting in a year-to-date volume of 51,399 units (+213.29% YoY).

Besides, the company reported an overseas sales volume of 131,661 PVs and pick-up trucks for the month of November.

During the Jan.-Nov. period, the company sold a total of 916,764 PVs and pick-ups across its overseas markets.
