LUXEED tops this threshold for the second straight month, while firm orders have exceeded that level for three consecutive months.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 28, LUXEED announced that it delivered over 10,000 vehicles in November, topping this threshold for the second straight month, while firm orders have exceeded that level for three consecutive months.

LUXEED is a premium smart-NEV marque jointly developed by Huawei and Chery Automobile. On August 7, 2025, Chery and Huawei's consumer business division formalized a "2.0" strategic partnership for the LUXEED brand during a signing ceremony in Shenzhen, China.

The expanded partnership ushers LUXEED into a new development stage, with more than CNY 10 billion earmarked for R&D and a 5,000-member engineering team planned to strengthen capabilities in driver-assistance technology and electric-powertrain technologies.

LUXEED is also scaling up its design and development footprint. It will draw on dual design centers in Shanghai and Shenzhen while building a new R&D hub in Wuhu's Roland Town — an installation intended to mirror Huawei's Songshan Lake research base. Together, these sites form a multi-city innovation network that brings advanced design and engineering closer to production.

The division of responsibilities between the two partners has become sharper: Huawei is taking the lead on operations and intelligent-system development, while Chery has elevated LUXEED to its top strategic priority, dedicating internal resources to support production and product rollout.

The partnership quickly yielded new products, with updated versions of the LUXEED R7 and S7 officially hitting the market. Pricing for the refreshed R7 starts at CNY 268,000, while the S7 begins at CNY 258,000.

On November 10, 2025, LUXEED announced that cumulative deliveries of its R7 fastback SUV had surpassed 100,000 units — an important milestone for the fledgling brand's market performance.

Another notable development came on November 20, 2025, when Huawei Executive Director Richard Yu revealed at the launch event of the STELATO S9 in Guangzhou that Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) will soon introduce its first flagship MPV.

The MPV — positioned as a top-tier "9-series" flagship — will be sold under the LUXEED brand and built on HIMA's highest-level vehicle platform. It is expected to feature the latest generation HarmonySpace, high-end ADS assisted-driving systems, and both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) powertrain options.

Industry observers say the MPV could mark a pivotal moment for LUXEED, broadening its lineup into a segment where demand remains strong. The model is reportedly slated for a market debut in the first half of 2026.
